MOON LIGHT SERENADE

Pastel on Suede Matboard
12" X 16"
The reference for this painting was one that I took of the sand dunes in Harbor Island. It was a beautiful sunny morning, but
I felt like painting it to portray a more romantic mood!

PAINT ALONG WITH KAREN

12"x18 Pastel on Wallis paper

It was a beautiful Autumn day in the Low Country where Karen, Jayne and I went to paint the beautiful colors of the marsh.
We both admire Karen's painting techniques so we asked if we could paint along with her. This is the result of that wonderful and fun experience. Thank you , Karen, it was fantastic!

FALL ON THE TALLLULAH RIVER

12"x18" Pastel on Wallis Paper

The North Georgia Mountains are a wonderful retreat for artists.
The Tallulah River is one beautiful moment after another. This
painting was painted in late October when the leaves were just
reaching their peak!

absolutely spectacular...

FISHING ON THE TALLULAH RIVER

ORIGINAL PASTEL PAINTING 16"x20" Pastel on Suede Mat board

One of my favorite drives in North Georgia is the road
meadering along the Tallulah River on the way to
Tate City. I was fortunate enough to find this fisherman
and snapped his photo for this painting.

Sand dune at Harbor Island

12"x18" Pastel on Wallis Paper

On a recent trip to Harbor Island we went to the
beach early in the morning with pastels and gear in hand.
It was a great opportunity to do some Plein Air painting on
the beach. The sun was hot with a warm breeze blowing and
no bugs!
